One folder on every device
Install the Nextcloud Desktop client on your laptop, the Nextcloud iOS or Android app on your phone, or just open the web UI in any browser. Your files appear identically everywhere, with conflict-free background sync, selective sync per folder and offline access on mobile.

Sub-users, custom groups, per-user quotas
Invite the rest of your team to share the same storage allocation. Create sub-users with their own login and quota, organise them into custom groups for easier sharing, and revoke access in one click when someone leaves. You are the admin of your tenant.

A private collaboration platform as a managed service
Nextcloud Hub on DreamServer infrastructure. File sync & share, calendar, contacts, mail, Deck and an entire ecosystem of apps, all on a server we manage in our Bucharest datacenter, accessed at cloud.dreamserver.ro, under EU jurisdiction.
You get the admin panel, sub-user management, custom groups, per-user quotas and password resets directly from your DreamServer client area. We handle the operating system, database, object storage, TLS certificate, daily off-site backups and all upgrades.
Open formats and open source: Nextcloud is free software, the data format is plain files, you can export and migrate elsewhere any time. No vendor lock-in.

Where is my data stored?
In our Bucharest datacenter. Storage stays inside the EU at all times, no data ever leaves the union, and the underlying volumes use full-disk encryption at rest. Jurisdiction is Romania, EU and GDPR-aligned.
What is the uptime target?
99.9% excluding scheduled maintenance. Maintenance windows are announced in advance in the client area so you can plan around them.
What happens if I miss a payment?
You get a 5-day grace period after the invoice due date. If the invoice is not paid within that window, the account and all its files are deleted irreversibly. Pay on time or renew early.
How are backups handled?
Daily off-site backups to our Proxmox Backup Server with 30-day retention by default. Restores from any point in the retention window are part of standard support, no surprise fee.
Are there bandwidth caps or egress fees?
No. Both upload and download traffic are included at the flat monthly price. Throughput is limited only by the physical link between you and our datacenter.
Which clients are supported?
The official Nextcloud Desktop client (Windows, macOS, Linux), the Nextcloud iOS and Android apps, plus any WebDAV client and the web browser.
Can I add users for my whole team?
Yes. Sub-users share your storage allocation. Create them from the client area, set per-user quotas, organise them into custom groups and reset their passwords on demand. There is also a limit on the total number of sub-users you can have, configurable per plan.
Where do I sign in?
All accounts share the same URL: https://cloud.dreamserver.ro. You sign in with your username (or email) and password from any browser, the desktop client or the mobile app.
The server is multi-tenant, but your account and your sub-users are isolated from other tenants by Nextcloud's permission and group system. The TLS certificate is from Let's Encrypt, auto-renewed.
Hosting on a customer-owned domain or a per-customer subdomain is not offered.
Which Nextcloud apps are available?
Files (sync & share, versioning, trash bin), Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Deck (kanban), Notes, Tasks. Collabora Online or OnlyOffice for collaborative document editing on request.
Anything from the official Nextcloud app store can be installed by us on demand.
How fast do you provision?
Automated after payment clears, typically within minutes. You receive an email with a link to the control panel in your client area where the URL, username, password and quota are ready to use.
Can I migrate from Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox?
Yes. Use the desktop client to drag-and-drop, or the official External Storage app for read-only mounts. For larger migrations we can run rclone in our network and skip the trip through your home connection, ask us when you order.
What if I need more than 25 TB?
Contact us for a custom-sized account. The 25 TB cap is only on the self-serve slider, not on the product itself.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your DreamServer client area at any billing cycle and the account is released at the end of the paid period. No long-term contract, no cancellation fee. Export your files before the end date if you want to keep them.
Do you read or scan my files?
No. We do not read, scan, index, monetise or train models on your data. Files at rest are encrypted with full-disk encryption; in transit they go through TLS. We only access content if you explicitly ask us to (for example to recover a corrupted file).
How do I rotate or reset my password?
From the client area you can change your Nextcloud password (the new one applies immediately on the server) or trigger a one-shot reset that generates a strong password and shows it once. Sub-user passwords are reset the same way from the Sub-Users tab.
Does it support 2-factor authentication?
Yes. TOTP (Authenticator app) is enabled by default. WebAuthn (security keys, passkeys) and U2F are available too. You can enforce 2FA on every sub-user from the Settings tab.
Can I share files with people who do not have an account?
Yes. Public link sharing with optional password, expiry date and download-only / upload-allowed flags. Federated sharing with another Nextcloud instance is also supported.
Is there a file size limit on uploads?
The default upload limit is 16 GB per file via the web UI, larger via the desktop client. We can raise both on request, the only hard cap is your remaining storage quota.
Do scheduled maintenance windows interrupt sync?
We schedule maintenance for low-traffic windows and announce it in the client area. The Nextcloud clients retry automatically on transient errors, so a short blip during maintenance just delays a sync rather than failing it.
