From a Passion Project to a National Operator
It all started on 13 June 2009, when DreamServer was born from a love of technology and the wish to offer something better to the growing Romanian gaming and online-community scene. In the beginning we ran web hosting and game servers on rented capacity from various Romanian ISPs, dreaming big on a modest budget and doing the work that nobody else wanted to do.
By 2011 DreamServer was already a familiar name in Romanian game hosting. We ran more than 100 active game servers, most of them Counter-Strike 1.6, with hundreds, sometimes thousands of players online every evening. Legendary Romanian communities made their home with us: Deathrun, Zombie Plague, Jailbreak, SA-MP and many more. You could feel the energy of the local community pulsing through those servers.
From 2012 to 2020 our fleet was colocated at Voxility, then one of the strongest datacenters in the region. It was the right platform for that chapter, and it let us grow without having to carry the weight of physical infrastructure alone. Then, in 2017, we made the single most important decision in our history: we started building our own datacenter. It took years of late nights, capex, and gradual migrations, but service by service we moved everything into infrastructure we fully own and operate.
Why go through that effort? Because owning the stack end to end is the only way to deliver the quality, performance and security we want for our customers without compromise. Networking, power, cooling, hardware, software, routing, peering, security, support, all under one roof, all built and run by the same team.
Along the way the catalogue evolved. We have offered game servers, web hosting, radio hosting, dedicated servers, VPS, VDS, colocation and plenty more. Today we focus on performance-grade dedicated servers, trustworthy VPS and VDS solutions, RIPE NCC LIR services, technical consulting, web design and custom web platforms. And we went one step further: we built DSIX, our own internet exchange, contributing to a faster, better interconnected Romanian internet.

Landing pages, corporate sites, booking systems, internal tools and bespoke web applications tuned for our infrastructure.
