IPv6 /48

A /48 is the standard block size recommended by the IETF for an entire site or small organization. That means enough room for 65,536 /64 subnets, a serious homelab, a startup that wants to begin the right way, or a dedicated service that needs its own globally routable space.

Even though it's the smallest product in our catalog, you get the same RIPE objects a company with an allocation 1,000x larger would receive: inet6num assigned in your organization's name, route6 for BGP announcements, optional mntner, ROAs for RPKI, configurable reverse DNS, and auto-generated LOA documents. The sub-allocation is visible in whois as assigned to you, not floating anonymously in a generic pool.

Key Features:

Additional Information
(required fields are marked with *)
Recommended: If you already have a RIPE maintainer object (e.g. YOURCOMPANY-MNT), enter it here. We will use your existing maintainer instead of creating a new one. You can find your maintainer name at https://apps.db.ripe.net. Leave empty if you do not have one, we will create one for you if you provided your RIPE NCC Access Email below.
Recommended: Enter the email address registered with your RIPE NCC Access account (https://access.ripe.net). Creating a RIPE NCC Access account is completely free, there are no costs involved. With your own maintainer you get direct access to manage objects in the RIPE database, create sub-allocations, and have full control over your address space. Without it, your allocation will be managed by our LIR maintainer, you can still use the client area for basic operations (routes, ROA, rDNS) but you will not have direct RIPE DB access or the ability to sub-allocate. Register for free at https://access.ripe.net if you do not have an account yet.
